Rajasthan is very important in the mineral production. 79 varieties of minerals are available in the Rajasthan, out of which 58 minerals were produced in 2006-07. The state is exporting several minerals in raw form as well as after value addition. The reserve position of important metallic and non metallic minerals is available under metallic and non metallic sections.
